Curcumin and Kidney Health

When you consider taking curcumin, you may not be aware that it may support kidney health, but it also may depend on the brand you take. While there is not as much evidence as there is for other health concerns, and more evidence is needed, there is growing evidence that curcumin may support kidney health. In this study, curcumin phytosome ameliorated temporary kidney dysfunction as measured by albuminuria:

In this study, curcumin lowered inflammation, lowered oxidative stress, and improved the gut microbiome in chronic kidney disease patients:
